Vishal Warriors beats Colors X Factors by 5 wickets

May 15- In the second match of today in Ncell NPL, the Vishal Warriors have defeated Colors X Factor by 5 wickets.The match was held in Mahendranagar Stadium of Kanchanpur.
Colors X Factor made 180 runs off their allotted 50 overs losing nine wickets.Skipper Gyanenedra Malla top scored for them with a magnificent inning of 77 runs while no other batsmen could even reach 20 runs.Ramnaresh Giri shone with the ball for Vishal Warriors with the impressive figure of 4-42 while Yagyaman Kumal took 2-27.
Chasing 181 runs to win, the Vishal Warriors made a easy job out of it.Riding on the inning of 50 runs by Dipesh Khatri, The Warriors chased down the target in 48.1 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.Prakash KC also contributed with 33 runs.Kumar Thapa was the pick of the pick of the bowlers for X Factor.
Ramnaresh Giri was chosen as Man of the Match for his impressive display of bowling.

Jagdamba Giants truimphs against Sagarmatha Legends

May 15- Jagdamba Giants has recorded an empahtic win against the Sagarmatha Legends on the second day of ongoing Ncell NPL.In the match played at Phapla Cricket Ground, Dhangadi, they defeated the Legends by 51 runs.
Jagdamba Giants won the toss and elected to bat first.They lost the first wicket in 10th over when Mahesh Chhetri was first to go with the score at 36.Althgough no batsman managed to score a fifty but useful contributions from some of their batsmen helped them reach the score of 213 runs for the loss of nine wickets off their alloted 50 overs.Naresh Budayair was the top scorer for the Giants while Amit Shrestha scored 32 runs.Sompal Kami contributed 31 runs.Rahul BK was the best bowler for Legends with the figure of 3-48.
Chasing 214 runs to win, the Sagarmatha Legends made a poor start as opener Sunil Dhamala was dismissed for 1 in 2nd over.fter the second wicket partnership of 46 runs, the legends kept on losing wickets at regular interval.They could only muster 162 runs in 42.3 overs losing the game by 51 runs.Anil Mandal was the main-stay of Sagarmatha Legends’s innings with 36 runs.Shakti Gauchan was the wrecker-in-chief for Jagdamba Giants with the ompressive figure of 4-19 off 8.3 overs.He was duly chosen as Player of the Match.

Sagarmatha Legends outclass Vishal Warriors for a huge win

May 14- In the inaugural match of the Ncell NPL, the Vishal Warriors have been heavily beaten by the Sagarmatha Legends by a margin of 107 runs.The match was played at the Phalpa Cricket Ground in Dhangadi.
Vishal Warriors won the toss and invited Sagarmatha Legends to bat first.Anil Mandal was first batsman to depart when he scored individual 10 runs with score reading just 30 runs off 6.2 overs.His fellow opener Sunil Dhamala soon depart for 16 runs.They lost half of their side in 30th over when star all-rounder Mehboob Alam was dismissed for just a single run.Skipper Binod Bhandari was the only batsman who had any answers against the formidible Warriors bowling line-up.His swashbuckling inning ended on 98 runs which came off just 71 balls.His inning consisted of 9 fours and 4 sixes.Legends’s innings ended on 242 runs in 49.3 overs.Ramnaresh Giri was the pick of the Warriors bowler with the figure of 3-49 off 10 overs.He was ably supported by Sushan Bhari who had a very economical figure of 2-25 off 10 overs.
Chasing 243 runs to win, Vishal Warriors made a poor start as they lost their opener Prakash KC for a naught in 5th over with the team score at 15.The Warriors were never in the the game as their batsmen departed at regular intervals.Opener Raju Rijal was the top scorer for the warriors with 37 runs while Manjeet Shrestha contributed 34 runs to the total.Chandra Sawad, Mehboob Alam and Nischal Panday shared two wickets each.Binod Bhandari of Sagarmatha Legends was declared Player of the Match.
According to tomorrow’s itinerary, Jagadamba Giants will take on Sagarmatha Legends in  Phapla Cricket ground, Dhangadi whereas Vishal Warriors will compete against Colors X factors in Kanchanpur Covered hall in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur.
